Takanini Courtyard

The brief for this project in Takanini, was to create a space for residents on a site that didn’t have much outdoor space. It needed to be uncluttered, inviting and safe for residents to enjoy and use. By clearing and planting with colourful scented plants the space became inviting and residents are drawn into the garden.

The central focus was a massive planter box which we planted out with edibles to be used by kitchen staff and residents. We installed artificial grass so that the area could be used year round and was inviting for picnics and BBQs with families and friends.
